The writer gives an account of the contracts s/he has made with Shaykh Muhammad Riza Isfahani and Aqa ‘Abd al-Riza Baqiyan for performing prayers on behalf of the late Hajiyah Nuzhat al-Dawlah in Karbala’ and Najaf and has enclosed invoices.

The writing on the edge of the first page reads: "this booklet of prayers belonged to Bibi Khanum, who was the mother of Mirza Masʻud Khan. [My father] gave this to me so that while reading the prayers, I pray for my grandmother and ask God to bless her.
